İzel Rozental’s style is distinctive from the traditional Turkish caricatures although at first this style seems very careless. However, this careless look is due to not wanting to develop something that goes beyond the expressions of caricature. “Observation and humour” is the main element, style is a tool not the purpose.
The reason why Rozental prefers different expressions in his caricatures is that he doesn't only rely on his style.
It's a caricature appearing as “style” but its something that denies the stereotype blocking humour/caricature.
Izel Rozental's caricature style has an ‘externus’ stand and an ‘externus’ point of view is required to read this comic-strip.
